| Pattee/Farviews
Where Higgins veers west and becomes 39th Street, you'll find a neighborhood perched above the Missoula valley. The area known as Farviews is aptly named for its fantastic vantage point. Streets curve around the rolling terrain--the perfect location for the highlands Golf Course. Just east of the Farviews neighborhood, a narrow and lush canyon cuts along the north side of Mount Sentinel--this is known as Pattee Canyon. Named for settler David Pattee, the canyon is one of the most popular recreation areas in town. You would never know you are within 10 minutes of the UM campus with homes hidden by thick pine trees near babbling Pattee Creek.
The Median Home Price in Pattee Canyon/Farviews neighborhood is $269,500. The Average Days on Market to sell a home in this neighborhood is 115 Days. (Reprinted from Make it Missoula Relocation Guide 2008-2009)
The public schools that serve the Pattee Canyon/Farviews area are the Lewis and Clark grade school, the Washington Middle School and Sentinel High School.
