Straight up South Russell Street into the hills on the south end of the valley are the South Hills and Moose Can Gully neighborhoods.  Historically marked by ranches and farms, the South Hills neighborhoods still respectfully nod to their rural roots.  Just recently approved over 1,000 acres of open space easements provide for peaceful places to explore and enjoy.  Trail systems are underway to connect Hillview Road to Moose Can Gully Park.  Groceries and restaurants can be accessed quickly from the hills, or residents can trek further up to enjoy both the sunset and dining.
