| Rose Park
Originally platted to be its own town known as South Missoula, Rose Park was one of the first neighborhoods to be developed south of the river. Although close to the University and Downtown, it is best known for its 'slant' streets, broad boulevards and towering trees. Restored craftsman-style homes and Norway maples are representative of the area. The neighborhood has grown into its own, hosting a wonderful mix of residential homes, businesses and city parks, all while maintaining a historic, neighborhood feel. The neighborhood boasts some of Missoua's favorite parks. In addition, the blend of homes, offices and retail stores makes for a unique experience in the Rose Park neighborhood.
The Median Home Price for the Rose Park neighborhood is $265,000. The Average Days on Market to sell a home in this neighborhood is 88 Days. (Reprinted from Make it Missoula Relocation Guide 2008-2009)
The Public Schools that service the Rose Park neighborhood are the Paxson and Lewis & Clark Grade Schools, the Washington Middle School and both Hellgate and Sentinel High Schools.
